I almost forgot how much I love Rowley. I saw him this weekend at the Maloof Cup and he is still a madman, so awesome. I heard he helped design the whole course for this years contest, and I think he did a pretty damn good job. He went pretty nuts on friday with a huge ollie into the Brooklyn banks obstacle , I wasnt there sat, and by the time sunday rolled around I heard he beat himself up pretty good and wasn't skating. I snapped these two pictures with a little point and shoot. You're welcome brandon, I heard he lives in Long Beach, maybe we'll see him at the pike!

My friend Jon Keene just sent over a picture of his 19(31?) Model A Ford that he's working on. It's pretty much the perfect example of a classic american hot rod. Fuck rat rods, this one is going to be killer! Jon is always one step ahead of me, in high school he had a '56 Chevy, then by the time I got my '54 he was over his already and sold it, now he has a 30's rod and an awesome wife. By the time I get my hands on one (a wife or a Ford), he'll be over it (not his wife) and have a bobbed Triumph or something. Lucky bastard. I love you Jon.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates on this form of alternative communication, the reason why is because, well, I have been very busy. But a good busy, not a hectic bad busy. I managed to get a second job at SoleTech, (the company that owns és, Etnies, Emerica, and Altamont, for all you people who are not action sports savvy). I work in the company store, so now you totally have an in to come shop for sweet gear at low prices at a very, very exclusive (not really) store. I work there monday through friday, and at Active on the weekends and one day during the week, at night. So by my count that's eight days a week, no, thats just eight shifts, they don't count as days. I met Jerry Hsu today, he was very nice, his personality was as enjoyable. It was enjoi - able as it is watching him skateboard: enjoyable, enjoiable. He signed one of his shirts for my friend megan gangon (gahg-yaung, there I pronounced it for you) and I think she'll like it. I felt like a little fan boy when i asked him to do it for her. Oh well. I can't believe I just wrote, enjoi-able. For a second I was proud of myself for making that play on words, now I just feel lame, oh well. I'm leaving it. I'm leaving you too. Goodnight.

*oh i got an internship at volcom too, woo

Phil definitley has a posse, and we're all meeting tonight to honor, and celebrate his extraordinary life.

-went to florida with amanda, my mom, dad, and niece.
-turned 23 on may 29th
-went to six flags with some bros when I got home
-hung with matt jensen, he gave me his bike for my birthday!
-saw that zohan movie with matt, and he made the movie 70% better
-went to jon and michelle's wedding. (was insanely fun)
-lost my cell phone and keys at the wedding (not so fun)
-my review mirror fell off
-lost 5 to 10 in our soccer game
-went to disneyland and got really wet on splash mnt.
-went to las vegas
-forgot about my dad's birthday
-pissed a lot of people off
-rode the roller coaster on las vegas stateline

now i have to settle down and clean up the mental/emotional/monetary mess I have created these past couple weeks. Ill post some pics from florida that i havent posted on my myspace already.
